- Once SITE BC has processed your application for the E-MAP program, your information will be sent to the E-MAP office.
What happens after SITE BC sends my application to E-MAP?- An E-MAP consultant will contact you for a one-to-one interview
- E-MAP consultants will help you assess your current skills against manufacturing opportunities
- Your resume and skills profile will be listed on the E-MAP database
E-MAP program staff will:- Source out appropriate vacancies and identify opportunities for E-MAP candidates
- Determine candidate's skills related to job vacancies in the manufacturing sector
- Actively refer jobseekers to employers needing staff
- Work with both candidate and employer to develop on-the-job work plans
Job Seeker responsibilities:- Follow through with the suggestions provided by the E-MAP consultants
- Keep in regular contact with E-MAP consultants as to your progress and employment status
